Pure Solar has partnered with Norwegian partner En ø kgrossisten AS to successfully complete a solar panel construction project on the roof of a large sports field located in Drammen. The successful implementation of this project marks another important breakthrough in the application of lightweight flexible solar panel technology on the roofs of large public facilities.
570 lightweight flexible solar panels meet the power generation demand of 300KW
In order to meet the power generation needs of the sports field, the project team carefully selected 570 pieces of 520WP lightweight flexible solar panels. These solar panels not only have efficient power generation capabilities, but are also highly favored due to their lightweight and flexible characteristics. Through reasonable layout and installation, the project ultimately achieved a power generation scale of 300KW, providing stable and reliable green energy for the sports field and surrounding facilities.
The load-bearing problem of asphalt roof is easily solved
It is worth mentioning that the roof of the sports field is made of asphalt material, which has limited load-bearing capacity. If traditional rigid glass solar panels are used, their weight will far exceed the load-bearing capacity of the roof. Pure Solar’s lightweight and flexible solar panels perfectly solve this problem. These solar panels are not only extremely lightweight, but also perfectly fit the curvature of the roof, ensuring both power generation efficiency and the safety and stability of the roof.
